![]() #Skate nollie olliolli2 manual#I've definitely landed the perfect manual on that top stairs platform plenty of times but it always is towards the far edge. #Skate nollie olliolli2 tv#May try on my vita too and see if my TV is lagging although by now I've probably adjusted to it.Įdit: I see now in the video that I happened to not land the manual there that time. I appreciate you running through it again, it's the only part that is giving me fits on amateur. I feel I've landed (edit: manual-ed) at the top of the stairs perfectly plenty of times and still had issues, that was just one video. I do combo off that last rail before it really fast, maybe I'll try your last comment and hold that grind longer so I have less speed going into the launch. ![]() ![]() Yeah that's what I was afraid to hear, I'll have to focus on the landing at the top of the stairs there. Maybe it's happening so fast and I can't tell but I'm really not hitting the manuals, I'll have to save off a few videos and study lol When you land there are additional frames of animation that need to be resolved before you can before a trick again and that is what is squandering that perfect launch of yours (technically you can actually launch out into a new combo almost immediately after landing perfectly but I suspect that for most people muscle memory will make that seem slightly awkward and only serve to slow you down).Įssentially what I'm saying is if you're tricking off the very edge of the platform at the top of the staircase then you've already left it too late. So from my perspective you're doing one thing in particular that is reducing your window of opportunity when it comes to that final staircase and that is landing your combo at the top of the first. I played through this bit a few times just to be sure. Be sure to use it effectively if you feel that you're travelling too fast. Basically you need to reduce the time you take to ollie out into a new trick after landing.Įdit Edit Edit: Also the rail that leads into that launchpad is essential to reducing the speed that you're travelling at. This is why I recommended having your stick held back (or pushed forward) in preparation of a manual since upon landing the manual you can immediately let go of the analog stick and ollie without wasting any time.Įssentially what I'm saying is if you're tricking off the very edge of the platform at the top of the staircase then you've already left it too late.Įdit: For the record though I did land a combo at the top of the platform and then start a new combo and continued on to finish the level so it is possible, but the window is tight and you're only doing yourself a disservice by putting yourself in that position.Įdit Edit: Landing into a manual and jumping out immediately also applies to when you land at the bottom of those stairs. When you land there are additional frames of animation that need to be resolved before you can perform a trick again and that is what is squandering that perfect launch of yours (technically you can actually launch out into a new combo almost immediately after landing perfectly but I suspect that for most people muscle memory will make that seem slightly awkward and only serve to slow you down). How can you plan for that, it's nuts.Ĭlick to expand.I played through this bit a few times just to be sure. ![]() Anyone have tips for this?Įdit: it's Titan Sky 4 and all the videos I see of completion the player gets a sick landing instead of perfect. I had to beat the level by purposefully landing sketchy before the second launcher to slow myself down. It seems like if I perfect everything it takes me too fast and slams me into the second set of stairs before I can jump again. Then you get launched again up to a flat where you have to manual jump quick down a set of stairs and then manual/jump quick up a set of stairs. The first sends you up and you land in front of some acid and can manual/jump quick onto a rail. I think it's Titan Sky 3, there's a part after you go through the core that has two launch pads. I have one major problem that is really bugging me. #Skate nollie olliolli2 full#So far I've been able to get by on combo's/score goals by basically combo-ing full levels. ![]() I think once I add spinning to my repertoire it'll actually be very doable. I gave it another shot at doing the Titan Sky amateur challenges and was able to knock out a few more of them. ![]()
